Earth is about Perfecting, Materializing, and things that are "Down to Earth."
Air is about Freedom and Non-Attachment and things that are Mental and Social.
Water is about things that are Emotional, Spiritual, and about Crisis and Transformation.

		Fire  "Ecstatic Expression" About: The free flow of divine creative energy in a positive, uplifting fashion. Without Fire:  There would be no spark, no radiant expression, no conviction. Weakness:  The unintentional identification of ego/self with the divine, creative energy flowing through oneself, leading to an excessive self-centeredness and exaggerated sense of self-importance.
		Earth "Humble Embodiment" About: Embodying.  Focusing on the present moment, present life, and being realistic/intelligent enough to perfect this reality. Without Earth: We would all be up in the clouds (emotions), in the air (thinking), or in the imagination (fire).  There would be no actualization. Weakness:  Attachment and stinginess.  Clinging to physical things, resistance to change, overfocusing on physical, temporal details rather than the larger spiritual picture or the heart.
		Air "Human Relating" About:  The love of people with freedom and non-attachment.  The use of the intellect in service to humanity. Without Air: There would be no ability to appreciate differences and different perspectives.  There would be no unified humanitarian vision. Weakness: A difficulty with feeling emotion, leading to depression and/or a lack of true connection with Self and others.  An overactive mind, or addiction to learning that blocks deeper peace and awareness.
		Water "Spiritual Unity" About: Harmony with Spirit through Spiritual Surrender, leading to co-operation with Divinity, which then manifests through loving presence, service, and/or creative arts.  The removal of selfish instincts from loving, giving, and having. Without Water: No compassion. No surrender.  Weakness:  Attachment.  Addiction to emotional obsession, victimization, insecurity, defensiveness, and pain.  Inability to separate and work on the self before appropriate merger with others, with Spirit, etc.
